Job description
Key Responsibilities:- Assess the financial performance and risks of companies in the biofuels and CCUS sectors, including project financing and market exposure.
- Analyze trends in biofuels markets and CCUS technologies, considering factors like regulatory changes, pricing trends, and carbon market developments.
- Evaluate the financial viability and scalability of biofuel production and CCUS projects, including cost structures and potential return on investment.
- Provide clear credit ratings and detailed reports, explaining the rationale behind rating actions and sector insights to clients and senior management.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Finance, Energy Management, Economics, or a related field. Master’s or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) are a plus.
- 3-5 years in financial analysis or energy market analysis, preferably with exposure to biofuels, CCUS, or sustainable energy.
- Strong financial modelling, risk assessment, and market analysis skills. Familiarity with biofuels markets, carbon capture technologies, and energy transition policies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly present findings and ratings.
