Job description

Formative Search is partnering with a leading infrastructure financing firm based in Singapore to seek a Director of Institutional Sales. 
  
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the coverage of institutional investors, attracting investments in direct co-investments, private placements, and public securitizations.
  • Generate tailored solutions to meet investor needs.
  • Effectively communicate product risks and benefits, ensuring investors have the information needed to make informed decisions.
  • Partner with the capital markets team to develop products aligned with investor preferences.
  • Address client inquiries quickly and provide appropriate, risk-conscious solutions.
  • Adhere to regulatory requirements in all business activities.
  • Manage risks (market, credit, operational, reputational) in line with internal policies.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a bank, asset manager, or a fund in Singapore or Southeast Asia.
  • Strong relationships with institutional investors in the APAC region.
  • In-depth knowledge of recent deal flow in the APAC region.
  • Expertise in credit analysis and negotiation.
  • Deep understanding of structured finance, including senior, mezzanine, and securitization terms and documentation.
  • Proactive, team-oriented, with demonstrated market presence in Asia.
  • Comfortable interacting with senior management and banks.
  • Accountable for meeting targets and delivering results with a passion for excellence and innovation.
