Provide support, advice and guidance to the Contracts Team
Lead a team of contract administrators
Maintain excellent working relationships with traders, analysts, legal, credit, treasury, and operations teams, as necessary, to assist with the confirmation of transaction terms and identify any special provisions to be included in contracts
Identify risks and promptly escalate any issues to the appropriate department for further discussion and resolution to ensure best possible advantage/position for the company
Review General Terms and Conditions along with specific transaction terms in contracts received from Counterparties
Negotiate ISDA agreements
Review transportation, storage and other business-related contracts
Ensure internal contract documents are accurate, up-to-date and well maintained
Create and generate contracts and respond to counterparty contracts, as appropriate
Other tasks as needed
Requirements
Bachelors degree
Minimum 10 years energy commodities, preferably concentrating in oil commodities with an operational/contracts background
Prior management experience
Demonstrate a solid understanding of legal terminology
Knowledge of contract basics, GTCS, all physical contract terms and the oil commodities business
Fluency in Mandarin a plus
Sense of urgency
Ability to work with all levels of company
Ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines; and
Strong interpersonal skills in the context of a multicultural environment
