Job description

A leading energy infrastructure company is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Business Development Manager to join their growing team in the Philippines. This role provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of the business, focusing on the renewable energy, energy storage, and other energy infrastructure solutions sectors. You will play a key role in supporting the company's commercial strategy, driving market expansion, and building strong partnerships in the region.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and execution of the commercial strategy for the Philippine market, working alongside senior leadership to identify growth opportunities and drive profitability.
  • Lead business development efforts to expand the company's footprint in the Philippines, establishing relationships with local partners and exploring new business opportunities in renewable energy, energy storage, cooling, heat recovery, and bioenergy.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key local stakeholders, including customers and partners, to drive the adoption of energy solutions aligned with decarbonization and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (technical, engineering, finance) to ensure energy solutions meet client needs and are executed effectively.
  • Work with the regional leadership team to identify synergies across Southeast Asia, driving commercial activities and business development across multiple markets.
  • Support the commercial evaluation process, assisting with the development of strategies for market growth and long-term business success.
Key Requirements:
  • At least 7 years of experience in commercial or business development roles, with experience in driving growth in the energy, infrastructure, or commercial & industrial (C&I) sectors.
  • Familiarity with renewable energy, energy storage, or energy infrastructure solutions is highly desirable, along with an understanding of the Philippine or Southeast Asian market.
  • Strong track record of driving business development efforts, managing client relationships, and supporting large-scale projects with a focus on sustainable outcomes.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including partners and regulatory bodies.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to identify opportunities and develop actionable plans for market expansion.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Tagalog is a plus.
